i'm home!
and i just played the lamest game of truth or dare ever. it went kind of like:
“so, have you ever ____?”
“not really, no.”
“oh yeah, me neither.”
and then we all sit around trying to think of another question
(actually i thought of a lot of things to ask, but i decided i really didn’t want to know the answers)
and it was still the best night...
the lineup for my concert tonight
first is a shitty piece by richard meyer called “celebration”. then we’re playing the first two movements of the polyvtsian dances from igor. then it’s the second movement of beethoven’s symphony no. 7 and a john williams piece from the olympics. and the finale is an arrangement of a couple awesome big band pieces.

I just finished reading everything is illuminated
and i can say without any doubt whatsoever in my mind that this very best book I have ever read in my whole fucking life. it’s weird and sad and funny and touching and beautiful and everyone in the entire world should read it
